Covid-19 Guidelines for Service

Wendell Baptist Family and Friends,

We have finally arrived at the point when we can start having on-campus services again. To God be the glory!

This has been a difficult time for all. WBC staff and leaders have been working hard to prepare for this day. Even though we can now start gathering again, things will still not be “normal”.

There are various protocols that are in place and things we all have to be mindful of.

Here is what you need to know.

Service Time: 10:30 A.M.

Service Location:

Sanctuary and an overflow area will be in the large fellowship hall. The service will be live streamed in the large fellowship hall and still through Facebook andYouTube

There will be no Life Groups, small groups, nursery, children or youth activities yet.

Before you arrive:

If you have a fever, feel ill, or have symptoms associated with COVID-19, we ask that you please worship at home online.

If you are considered in a high-risk category, we ask that you consider worshipping from home online.

When you arrive:

• Upon arrival individuals will be at one 3 entrances (Welcome Center, Entrance I , LFH ( Pine St) and  main Sanctuary entrance) to guide you and they will be taking temperatures. If you have a fever, you will be unable to attend the service.

Our ushers will guide you to available seating in the sanctuary. We will have signage and areas marked off to ensure social distancing is adhered to.

No food or drinks will be allowed or provided. This is to minimize the potential spread of the virus.

Hand sanitizer stations will be available.

We ask that you avoid handshaking, hugging, and the like. Keep in mind that even if you are okay with it others may not be.

Offering will be taken at the end of the service as you leave. We will have a place for you to place your offering at each exit.

What to bring:

Wear a mask. This is to protect you and to give others a peace of mind.

We will not have a bulletin to hand out or available. It will be in the Quarantimes newsletter which you can download and/or print it out from our website.

Children’s bulletins will not be available. It will be in the Quarantimes newsletter which you can download and/or print it out from our website.

We won’t have any Bibles in pews.If you don’t have one and need one, let an usher or greeter know and we will provide you one to keep.

We know that these are unique times. And we appreciate your prayers and patience. Together we will get through this. Together we will continue to proclaim Jesus to the nations. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday.
