He is not here. For he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.

Important Church Message

1. We will be live streaming our worship service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays, Pastor Chris will also send out a video message.  Pastor Gary will send out a message for the Youth.  On Saturdays, Director of Children Jennifer will send out a message at 10:30 am.   For those who don’t have Facebook, the messages will be archived pretty quickly onto our YouTube page.

2. The ministerial staff will continue to meeting to talk about what
ministry will look like for the duration of the event and make plans.

3. Most churches are expecting to take a financial hit during this time, as
will many people personally. We do want you to be aware that you can still
mail in your tithes and/or offerings to the church office (P.O. Box 187
Wendell NC 27591). Also, we do have an online giving page on our church
website. Please check that out and consider giving that way as well
(https://wendellbaptist.org/online-giving). If you have questions, contact
the church office and we’ll walk you through that.

4. Lastly, if you would like to reach out to me there are many ways. You can
email me at this email. Call or text me on my cell phone 919-901-7131 (If I
don’t answer please leave a voicemail). You can send a message through my
wife’s Facebook page. Though I’m not able to make a visit in most cases
right now, I can Skype, Google hangout, or FaceTime with you if desired.

In fact, let me encourage you not to say to anyone during this time “We are not having church on Sunday”.  Of course we are. The church was never a place or a building but a people. We are to have church every day of the week. More accurately we are to BE the church every day of the week.

Pastor Chris
